notes: so there was time in my life where i was going to a lot of rodeos and the national western stock show and local shows (my best friend had a few horses, and i spent a lot of time at the horses with her and building awesome back & arm muscles from shoveling lots of horse crap) so i pretty much HAD to make a nostalgia mix of the music i'd listen to whenever i was on the road with them =D --and then a few, like 'save a horse, ride a cowboy' that pretty much gets played at every rodeo (or 'boot scootin' boogie, which i've line danced to xD -- and my friend had a shania twain cd that got a whole lot of use.). THIS MIX ACTUALLY MAKES ME RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY, I REALLY ENJOYED THESE THINGS. i'm also curious to see who on my f-list knows country music xD

i am a girl who sees bull riding on tv and must make sure it's recording, SO YES, I HAVE A FONDNESS FOR THE WESTERN/COWBOY/ETC SCENE (which partly may be a whole, living in the west thing xD) AND RASCAL FLATTS AND JOHNNY CASH ARE BOTH LOVELY.

I COULD PROMISE YOU THINGS LIKE BIG DIAMOND RINGS, BUT YOU DON'T FIND ROSES GROWIN' ON STALKS OF CLOVER, SO YOU BETTER THINK IT OVER~

i am so fond of all these songs

Oh man, this mix just makes me smile. SO MANY MEMORIES! (And one of my fav. Dierks songs.) (And one of my fav. Rascal Flatts song, "broken road" not that I don't like their cover of "life is a highway," but the original just brings so many MORE memories.) (But not Kenny, sorry, can't listen to that song without bursting out in laughter since I went to college with far too many boys who worshiped at the Church of John Deere.)

AGREED RE: DIERKS AND RASCAL FLATTS. and i'm more acquainted with their version of life is the highway, since it was on the radio a lot during that time, so that's why it's the one on this mix xD (hahaha, it's seriously just a song meant to laugh to. I DIDN'T GOT KNOW THESE BOYS, and i still lol every time i hear it.)

seriously, this is just a feel good mix. ---YOU KNOW WHAT'S ALSO A FEEL GOOD MIX? THE CLASSIC ROCK MIX (http://8tracks.com/amorekay/more-than-a-feeling).
