so, i cheated, and i'm not going in complete order with these mixes /dies. mostly because i really wanted to share this one with you guys, now, since most of you don't listen to jrock/know anything about it. there were so many lovely songs i could have chosen, and so many artists i love (no luna sea! no miyavi! no l'arc!) that i didn't actually end up putting on this so there will totally be another jrock mix. probably a jpop one too haha, but i tried to go for a peaceful, easygoing mix with nice vocals and strong instrumentals, with a bit of angsty edge to it at the end. so basically, all of these songs either make me smile or want to cry. and really, THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW THIS GENRE, please download it & listen! (:

SCREAMING. I LOVED HONEY VANITY LIKE NO OTHER. And now I want to go find Khaos Kinema because I know it's packed away somewhere here. baroque was badass, I was so sad when they disbanded. Christ, it has been a long damn time since I've listened to any of these guys, it's crazy, LOL.

HAHAHA HONEY VANITY IS SUPER NOSTALGIC FOR ME, it was one of the first jrock songs (other than like. EVERYTHING BY GAZETTE well and the many many theme songs from animes growing up) that i listened to a lot! ahhh. and baroque is lovely, yo;; I ALSO HAVE A UM. HERO WORSHIP THING FOR KIRITO. ILU KIRITO.

ALSO LOL ASSUMING YOU GOT MY GMAIL REPLY?

jkdjf I wasn't so much a Gaze fan, I think. A friend of mine was though, and she was a massive, MASSIVE hide fan. I was more, uh, Malice Mizer/Kouji/Naito/L.MC (or LM.C, I FORGET) person. OH, AND ZWEI. ...Bearing in mind, my thing for Jrock went from 15 to like, 19-20, LOL.

I def need to do this once my internet is at least a little bit reliable (I have like, ~50MB to LAST ME TILL THURSDAY, LOL /RATIONS)

I DID! God, I am terrible with responses, I know. What I did after rec'ing it, was immediately open the word doc to finish it off. And I think I have, now. Just putting the finishing touches. WOULD YOU MIND IF I SEND IT TO YOU TO LOOK OVER? Not like, an in-depth beta job or anything though :'D

ugh i love hide ♥ BUT IS WAS JUST SO SAD BECAUSE THERE WOULD NEVER BE ANY NEW MUSIC, so i tried not to think about it too much ;_; but i love him. and ahh, see i didn't know malice mizer very well at all, but nightmare was my very first j-rock band, (and i knew lm.c! but wasn't super into them) -- i was more into gazette/miyavi/etc etc. I NEED TO SEE WHAT'S NEW, it's good music;;

you do ♥ /CRYING. YOU NEED NEW NET. LIKE. NOW. /frowns

lmao, yes, you can send it! =D AND EVENTUALLY REPLY TO THE LJ MESSAGE xP

Oh, do some of these songs bring back memories.

Seriously, these nostalgia mix posts are one of your best ideas ever, bb.

don't they? /cries. this is literally all i listened to for YEARS. and then kpop. and epik high -- i still have a huge soft spot for epik high.

hahaha, thank you! THEY'RE A LOT OF FUN, everyone loves nostalgia -- when it's the soft kind, it just fills you up and is a really nice feeling. ....which is why all the rap songs i'm listening to right now make me feel vaguely warm and fuzzy even though they are so extremely sexist and mostly about sex and/or pot. :|
