a/n: while in the midst of working on other mixes, i somehow ended up with the songs for a sledge/snafu mix -- and songs that fell together so perfectly. 'rootless tree' had been in my head for a long time for these two, and ugh, they just translate to music so beautifully. a wartime/post-war mix!
