inked!

so. i tried a different style (after remember how much i adore Naked Ape's Dolls and the way they do their faces.) and. I'M SO GLAD I DID. this style is so much fun, black & white inking is probably always going to be more comfortable to me than coloring (oh god, coloring. i don't understand shadows, lmfao.)

and i ended up with this:






it's exciting! i adore this kind of look (:

Both of these are adorable! (I can't even imagine trying to draw all of Al's little twiddly armor bits, so I am extra impressed by that.)

Thank you! Oh man, the whole time I was filling out Al's details (...there's a reason he's standing straight forward and stationary, I was like, I DO NOT KNOW HOW I WILL DRAW THIS ARMOR IN MOTION) I was wondering how Arakawa draws it so often ...it's definitely an undertaking.
